Another Story About Roswell?, posted by dt on Monday, 5 May 1997, at 5:45

Premise number two:
Using another trite expression of the time, the prime directive (got that
from star trek) was "to keep the status quo."
The Roswell wreckage was not displayed for science to see. It was spirited
off and hidden; in other words, the ones hiding the candy didn't have a
taste for candy.
A scientific interest was developed much later. One impetus was getting
Glenn to come to town (D.C.). A certain well known corporation and
well-known Government Lab started recruiting young trainable minds. No
heavy-weights involved.
The above implies that somewhere along the line we bought some time from the
rightful owners of the craft. It was very hard for them to learn "finders
keepers, losers weepers."
Back to a very boring story....Anyway, there sat dt against the filing
cabinets, reading all kinds of good stuff. Was dt thinking expose this to
the world? Yes and no, dt wanted to use the medium of comic books to cache
in (hey, I was young- early twenties (pretty old for a draftee at the time).
At the same time that dt was read, his instructors just sat around and asked
him questions about - himself. I thought this strange but I liked it. I went
through my whole life to date (Barb, it took over three weeks to do this).
There was a very good reason for the above questioning; I'll get to that
later. They, my instructors or maybe captors?, asked me two things which I
didn't know that they were really aware of - 1) did I find the ufo stuff
(most was junk) interesting and two 2)was I the one who poisoned a group of
green berets. I reluctantly answered "yes" to both.
